Payment of the incentive constitutes investment income in cash, subject to withholding tax at the current rate of 19%, which the Bank deducts from the corresponding customers, paying them the resulting net amount. Customers must declare the incentive received in the savings tax base of their personal income tax (IRPF) return. Customers are entitled to the deduction of the withholding tax applied.

Customers who have set up direct debits for bills at Openbank between 1 November 2023 and 12 May 2024, or who received any product or payment incentive for any direct debit promotion at Openbank in the five-year period leading up to 13 May 2024, are ineligible for the promotion.
