What's the promotion?
Bring your friends to Openbank and you can pocket €70 each!

How can you refer your friends?

On the app

Log in to the Openbank app and on either the Account Overview screen or the left-hand menu, go to > Refer a friend > Share code

On the website

Log in to your Customer Area and, in your profile, go to Refer a friend and we’ll send you an email with a code that you can forward on to them.

Please note that each code is valid for one friend. If you want to refer more than one friend, you will need to send a separate invite for each one.

What do your friends have to do?
They need to use your code and follow these steps:Find out more
  1. Open an account with your code by 17/04/26 (inclusive).
  2. Make a purchase with their new card within 30 days. Whatever they want!
  3. And if you each want €20 extra, they will need to activate Bizum within 30 days. Don't forget that you also need to have Bizum at Openbank.
What are the conditions?

- They must not have been an Openbank customer at any time during the 12 months prior to the start of the promotion.

- In order to get €50 each, they need to open a current account as a main holder with the promotional code you send and use their card for any purchase within 30 days of opening the account.

- They must activate Bizum within 30 days of opening the account (you must have it activated too) to get €20 each.

- The extra €20 for activating Bizum is excluded for referrers who have signed up for any other Bizum promotion in the last 12 months.

Payment of the incentive constitutes investment income in cash, subject to withholding tax at the current rate of 19%, which the Bank will deduct from customers, paying them the resulting net amount. Openbank will deposit €50 net in both the referrer and the referree’s current accounts only if each is registered as the main holder of their respective accounts and they have both activated Bizum at Openbank.

The full payment will be made within a maximum term of 30 days after the conditions have been met.

For the purposes of making the payment, we will check all the requirements mentioned in these conditions in three waves: at the beginning of April, May and June 2026 (the cut-off date is 8 June 2026).
