How can you refer them?
On the app
- Go to "Refer a friend" from the Account Overview scteen or the left-hand menu.
- Share the code with your friend.
- And you're good to go! Now all that's left is for your friend to use it.

Log in to your Customer Area on the website > Your profile > Refer a friend.
What do your friends have to do?
Open an account using your code by 30/04/2026 (inclusive).
Use their new card to spend €50 or more.
You’ll both get an extra €20 if they activate Bizum and you also have it set up with Openbank.
To unlock it all, your friends have 60 days from opening their account to complete these steps.

Bear in mind that the friend you refer must not have been an Openbank customer at any time during the 12 months prior to the start of the promotion, and the extra €20 for activating Bizum is excluded for referrers who have signed up for any other Bizum promotion in the last 12 months.
Payment of the incentive constitutes investment income in cash, subject to withholding tax at the current rate of 19%, which the Bank will deduct from customers, paying them the resulting net amount. Customers must declare the incentive received in the savings tax base of their personal income tax (IRPF) return. Customers are entitled to the deduction of the withholding tax applied.
Openbank will deposit €50 net in both the referrer and the referree’s current accounts only if each is registered as the main holder of their respective accounts and €20 net if they have both activated Bizum at Openbank.
For the purposes of making the payment, we will check all the requirements mentioned in these conditions in three waves: at the beginning of May, June and July 2026 (the cut-off date is 8 July2026).
