Ezequiel is the Chief Executive Officer of Openbank. He joined Amazon Europe in Luxembourg, where he was Vice President and Member of the Board of Directors. He was a consultant at Arthur D. Little in Buenos Aires and Rotterdam and at Mckinsey & Co in Amsterdam. In the Netherlands, he was director of strategy and operations for Nike Europe and Vice President of Liberty Global. In Spain, he was a partner of the Financial Advisory Services at Deloitte and General Managing Director of the Cortefiel Group.
He is a Doctor in Psychology from the University of Tilburg, the Netherlands. He has a Master's degree in Business at the ADL School of Management at Boston College and holds a Bachelor's degree from the UADE Ingenieria School and research fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Center for Technology and Industrial Policy Development. He also studied literature and narrative at the University of Cambridge, UK.
He started his career as a freelance journalist for the Daily and Financial Finance journals and has published numerous articles in local and international magazines.
Ezequiel is passionate about books, and not only reads them but also collects them. He is the author of two novels, “Marina de Buenos Aires” and “Paris 2041”, published with Editions B – Penguin Random House.










Patricia joined the Openbank project in 2015 bringing an extensive leadership experience in the fields of Digital, Strategy, Business advisory and Finance.
Prior to joining Openbank, Patricia was the Chief Digital Officer of Tendam Group, responsible for creating, developing and managing the e-commerce of the five fashion brands (Cortefiel, Pedro del Hierro, Springfield, Women'secret, and Fifty Factory) across 25 countries.
Before Tendam, Patricia held various positions of leadership in the areas of finance, consulting and strategy, based out of London, Madrid and Barcelona. She was financial industries auditor at KPMG, Deputy CFO at Carrefour, and Director at Deloitte responsible for Private Equity consulting specialized in Strategy and Operations and Merger and Acquisitions for retail industry deals.
She holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Barcelona, an Executive MBA from ESADE, and an Executive Program on Digital Business at ISDI. She also attended the Executive W50 leadership Program at UCLA, Anderson School of Management.
Patricia is a member of the Spanish Institute of Chartered Accountants (ROAC –Auditora Censor Jurado de Cuentas).
She is a frequent speaker on various national and international digital forums, a professor at IE University, and writes a blog on Modaes.es about e-commerce in the fashion world. In her free time, she enjoys travelling and sports, particularly running and skiing.










Rubén is responsible for the Information Security team in Openbank. He led the Solutions Architecture team for Enterprise Accounts in Amazon Web Services. He has experience in Santander Group, where he was part of the team responsible for implementing Openbank in the cloud.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Pontificia University in Salamanca, as well as a Master’s degree in Project Management and Service Management.
Rubén is a father of three children and enjoys spending his free time with his family.










Eva is the Chief Compliance Officer of Openbank. She joined Openbank after she developed her career at Santander Consumer Finance.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in law and business management from St Paul University - CEU and a master’s degree in business law at the Garrigues study centre.
Eva is married and has two children, a dog and is a passionate of live music, skiing and travelling.










Laura is the Chief Marketing Officer of Openbank. She was Marketing Manager at Starbucks (Spain and Portugal). She also developed her career as Director of Marketing and Communication at Papa John’s (Spain and Portugal) and Brand Manager at Unilever Spain.
Laura studied Advertising and PR at Pontificia University in Salamanca, completed her studies at the University of Edinburgh and took a Master GESCO Marketing Management in ESIC.
She is passionate about yoga, oenology and fashion and technology trends. She enjoys reading, discovering new restaurants around the world and vintage art markets.










Violeta is the Commercial Director of Openbank. She has held E-mail Marketing and Site Merchandising positions at Amazon. She began her career in Privalia as Product Manager. In addition, she was the Brand Manager at Just Eat Spain, where she was responsible for the re-launch of the brand.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from the Universitat de València, and a Master in Marketing and Fashion Communication at the European Design Institute in Barcelona. She subsequently completed the Master of Inbound and Marketing Digital in Inesdi, Madrid.
Among her hobbies are mountain hiking and diving. Plus, she enjoys spending time with friends and family over a good meal, especially if it’s spicy food.











Bárbara is the Openbank User Experience Director. She joined Openbank from Amazon, where she was part of the UX founder team for Amazon Europe, designing and optimising experiences for clients in Germany, France, Italy, UK and Spain. She began her career as Digital Project Manager for MRM Worldwide, (McCann Erickson Group), where she started in the world of user experience design and analytics.
Bárbara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising and PR from Complutense University in Madrid and completed her studies with a Master in Digital Project Design and Development.
She has practised martial arts from 8 years to finish college and is now a great fan of fitness, functional training (HIIT) and loves to run in the countryside with her dog.










Javier is the head of Architecture at Openbank Technology Products. He joined Openbank from Amazon (Dublin and Madrid), where he worked in the support areas and solutions architect for AWS. Previously, he managed a start-up, where he was responsible for commissioning a cloud service provider. Javier began his career in a systems integrator, responsible for the technical direction of the project area and the systems business development direction.
He is a Computer Engineer from Murcia University and later studied a Master’s degree in Business Administration at the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
He is married, has a child, a dog, and loves watching movies, reading and travelling.










Steve is the Market Manager for Germany at Openbank. He joined Openbank from Credit Suisse Zurich, where he held positions in different areas of private banking operations.
Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from New York’s Yeshiva University – Sy Syms School of Business.
One of his great passions is tennis, which he has coached for many years.










Gonzalo is the Openbank Wealth Director. He joined Openbank from UBS Zurich, where he was Executive Director and Sales Manager for Latin America. He also held business development and sales management positions in Spain, UK, Portugal and Switzerland.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management by URJC, a Master’s degree in Marketing for ESIC and a Master’s degree in Financial Markets for the IEB.
Gonzalo is passionate about water sports and automobiles.










Daniel is responsible for Data Science at Openbank. He joined Openbank from Vodafone Group (London) where he held the position of Lead Data Scientist. He developed his career at the BDigital Applied Research Center and BBVA. He also participated in several academic projects at the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute at the CSIC.
He studied Computer Engineering at the University of Granada and holds a Master's degree in Advanced Computer Science from Autonomous University Barcelona.
He is co-founder of DataBeers, an association for cultural and scientific dissemination in the scope of Data Science and Big Data, with a presence in more than 25 cities in 12 countries worldwide.










Anna works in the Technology and Operations department of Openbank. She began her career in Deloitte (Madrid), in the BPS service line, implementing process transformation and improvement projects.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Master from the Cracow University in Economics in Poland. She took part of her studies in Denmark at the University of Southern Denmark Odense.
In her free time she likes dancing, travelling and reading.










Yoshi has started his career at Openbank in the Data Science team. His passion for data analysis led him to develop an automatic detection system for hate speech in social media, and was awarded the Accésit Award for Research at the Spanish Police Foundation in 2018.
He graduated in Computer Engineering from the Autonomous University of Madrid. He also holds a Master's degree in Big Data Analytics at Madrid University Carlos III.
One of his great passions is cooking. He's also a YouTuber, where he dances. He has reached the number of more than 70,000 subscribers in 2017.










Ines started her career at Openbank in the Technology & Operations department. She has participated in several business and mentoring leadership programmes, focusing especially on the role of women in the STEM world.
She studied Engineering in Industrial Organisation at King Juan Carlos University and an MBA, with the aim of completing her technical studies with business knowledge.
She spends her time off practicing flamenco, contemporary and classic dance, her passions, attending exhibitions and travelling. In addition, the multi-cultural environment in which she has grown up has led her to learn five languages.










Jana is responsible for Process Transformation at Openbank. She developed her career at Accenture (Prague), where she participated in process re-engineering projects at large European banks.
She studied Economics at the Technical University of Ostrava and took an MBA at IE Business School.
She loves sports and is part of the Openbank Runners’ Club.










Nicci is the Market Manager for The Netherlands at Openbank. She began her career in the Operations area of Makro Argentina.
She studied a Master in Econometrics & Operational Research at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam and took her master thesis in Buenos Aires.
She is a mother of three children and is a sports enthusiast. These include running, snowboarding and boxing, but especially field hockey. She belongs to the Openbank Runners’ Club, where she trains for her marathons.










Lin is part of the Openbank Digital Business Department. She started her career in Huawei (Madrid), where she got interested in the technology and digital sector.
She studied Economics and Finance at the Autonomous University of Madrid, performing several international exchange programmes in Shanghai and Frankfurt.
She’s a big fan of series and music. She began studying piano at the age of four and after a break, she has taken it up again in her free time.










Aldona leads the Back Office Retail Operations team in Openbank. She began her career at the Ministry of Finance and in consultancy for KPMG (Krakow). Ten years ago she moved to Spain and has been a manager and director of operations and digital transformation at various financial and consulting institutions.
She studied Finance and Banking at Krakow University of Economics.
She loves everything related to interior architecture and design. In her free time she plays the piano, paints and practises a lot of sport. She is also part of the Openbank Runners’ Club.










Andreea works in the Openbank Legal Department. She has worked in law firms, such as Bird&Bird and Allen&Overy, and in private companies such as Heineken and LeasePlan where she worked in the Legal and Compliance department.
She holds a law degree from the Autonomous University of Madrid. She also holds a Master’s degree in European Union law and took the Compliance programme at IE Law School.
She is married, a mother of two and loves to travel. She speaks five languages: Romanian, Spanish, English, French and Italian.










Karen leads the Openbank Digital Channels and Operations team at Openbank. She developed her career as CRM Global Unit Manager at ISBAN working for Santander Group and Soluziona.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the Autonomous University of Madrid.
In her free time she likes to play sports and spend time with her family.
