• New customers who open an account with the bank for the first time will also receive a €50 welcome bonus.

Openbank, Santander Group’s 100% digital bank, has launched a new campaign offering customers (the “referrers”) up to €500 for inviting friends and family to open an account. For each new customer who opens an account with the bank, the referrer will receive €50, with a maximum of ten referrals. New customers (the “referees”) will also receive a €50 welcome bonus.

To take part in the promotion, referees must open a current account before 29 January (inclusive) using the referrer’s promotional code, deposit at least €300 and maintain that balance for a minimum of six months. In addition, they must not have been an Openbank customer in the last 12 months.

In both cases, and once the requirements have been met, the incentive will be paid in the following month.

With this new campaign, Openbank is strengthening its customer loyalty strategy in Spain, offering attractive rewards for existing customers while making it easier for new customers to join the bank.
