How long does it take to receive a bizum?
Bizum is so fast that you’ll have the money in your account within 5 seconds.
Can I cancel or reject bizums?
Requesting and sending money is instant, so it is not possible to cancel or reject the bizum afterwards, but you can ‘request money’ from the user that you sent money to by mistake. You can also reject requests for money that you receive from others or return a bizum that you receive.
Can I send a bizum to someone who doesn’t have the service?
You can send a bizum to or request a bizum from someone who is not registered yet, although they will have to sign up to complete the transaction.
If you send a bizum, the recipient will receive an SMS to register. If they don’t register within 48 hours, the transaction will be automatically cancelled.
If you request a bizum from someone, the request will remain on hold until they register. If they don’t register within seven days, it will be automatically cancelled.
Can I send a bizum to someone who has a foreign mobile number?
As for the phone number, no problem! The phone number can be foreign, as long as it is linked to a Spanish or Andorran current account.
